Alan Lee Promoted to BioZyme’s Vice President of Domestic Business

Alan Lee, Gillham, Arkansas, has been promoted to Vice President, Domestic Business with BioZyme® Inc. Lee, a 12-year-veteran of the global fermentation leader, has held numerous roles within BioZyme climbing the ranks from Area Sales Manager.

In his new position, Lee will oversee all domestic sales of supplements and additives along with purchasing and inventory of ingredients. He will also work closely with the business development and leadership teams to ensure continued growth for the company. Finally, he intends to develop a global supplement business, with the goal of helping more animals worldwide.

“This is a position I am very excited about, and it is all about continuing the growing momentum of our company. I always enjoy the challenge of building a great team and strategically putting the right people in the right places to deliver care that comes full circle to all of our customers,” Lee said.

Lee has an extensive background in the cattle industry and has been involved in numerous sectors of the agriculture industry. His passion for livestock began at an early age and continued through college where he was on livestock judging teams at Eastern Oklahoma State College and the University of Arkansas. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Arkansas.

 A passionate advocate for the agriculture industry, Lee currently serves on the Arkansas Youth Expo (AYE) advisory board and as a member of the Sevier County Farm Bureau board.

Lee, his wife, Christy, and their two children, Kix and Bristol, run a commercial and purebred cow-calf operation with the focus on producing show steer and heifer prospects. Kix and Bristol show cattle and goats competitively at the local, state and national levels.

Prior to joining BioZyme, Lee worked as a sales representative for Gallagher Animal Management.
