Remy Wyatt, Ph.D., of Olney, Texas, is the new Senior Manager of Formulation and Customer Tech Support for BioZyme® Inc., headquartered in Saint Joseph, Missouri. In her role, Wyatt is responsible for demonstrating expertise in animal nutrition by formulating diets and products that minimize production deviations and maximize animal performance and health.
“Remy is a lifelong cattle producer with a passion for the beef industry. Furthermore, she has been involved with every segment of the industry. Her unique focus of study in vitamins and minerals in one of the best programs in the country makes her the ideal fit for this position,” said Chris Cassady, Ph.D., Director of Beef Technical Sales.
Meet Remy Wyatt
Wyatt earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from West Texas A&M University and her master’s in Meat Science from Texas Tech University. She completed her Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition at Iowa State University, where she specialized in trace mineral metabolism and its effects on cattle health and performance. Born and raised on seedstock operations in Kentucky and Texas, she brings a depth of knowledge and real-world experience to BioZyme. She most recently consulted for Great Plains Nutrition, working closely with backgrounders and stocker operators. She is the past president of the North American Limousin Junior Association.
“I met Chris (Cassady) at a conference this fall and was very impressed by the way he described the workplace community. I can tell that BioZyme is a place where people enjoy their jobs, and people truly do care about animals and making products that help them live better lives,” Wyatt said. “I’ve experienced most arms of the industry, and I’m actually looking forward to settling down and working on formulations and helping our team with their questions.
Wyatt and her husband, Ross, welcomed their son into their family this fall. They have bought some cattle, and she is excited to rebuild the family’s herd. Her hobbies include reading and cooking.
