This past month was our 6th annual dealer retreat. This event brings together our top volume dealers to challenge all of us on how we can be the best versions of ourselves in our day to day business. This year\u2019s theme was Decode the Mystery of Growth.<\/p>\n

Mystery is defined as something that is difficult or impossible to understand.<\/p>\n

This recent article in Feedstuffs is a mystery to me. How can I include chocolate as 30% of my diet without affecting my carcass composition?\u00a0 <\/span>Seems if I just include it at .000003 percent it significantly impacts my carcass. Now that is a mystery.<\/p>\n

The \u201clove of gain\u201d is human nature. So, a desire or even a need for growth is not mysterious. It\u2019s how to create it that\u2019s mysterious.<\/p>\n

We must work every day to solve that mystery using a variety of ways including:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Investing in human capital<\/li>\n
  2. Committing to learning<\/li>\n
  3. Standing out<\/li>\n
  4. Setting bold goals<\/li>\n
  5. Making big changes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The common point to all of these is ACTION \u2013 Nike says Just Do It.\u00a0 <\/span>If \u201cjust do it\u201d was enough, we\u2019d have already just done it by now.\u00a0 <\/span>So, if all we need to do is \u201cjust do it,\u201d why do we go through one year after the other without \u201cjust doing\u201d the things we know we need to do to grow?<\/p>\n

    Because successful growth isn\u2019t about just doing, it\u2019s about:<\/p>\n
