Gratitude means \u201cthe quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.\u201d Being thankful has many positive effects, according to science. It opens the doors to more relationships, improves both your mental and physical health, reduces your \u2018fight-or-flight\u2019 reactions, helps you sleep better and increases your self-esteem. All these are obviously worth making sure that we remember to be grateful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Granted with this month\u2019s holiday, Thanksgiving, it should not be difficult to remember to have gratitude; however, in the middle of a pandemic it may not seem so easy.
