Shelia Grobosky has more than 25 years of experience in agricultural communications and event planning. She has worked as a freelance writer and PR specialist. She spent 15 years at the American Angus Association, where she was the Director of Communications and Director of Activities and Events. She has a degree in Agricultural Journalism with a minor in Animal Science from Kansas State University.  Shelia is based in Alexis, Illinois, where she lives with her husband, Stan, and their daughter, Lily, who keeps the family active as a multi-sport athlete, who swims competitively, plays basketball, volleyball, and softball. The family also shows goats and market hogs.  Shelia is active in numerous organizations, as she believes in giving back. She is the immediate past president of the Livestock Publications Council, is president of the local P.E.O., secretary of the United FFA Alumni Association, Secretary of the United Intermediate School PTO, and cheerfully volunteers for her daughter’s school and swim activities.
