BioZyme® Inc. Announces Newest South American Partnership

BioZyme® Inc., announces its newest international partner in South America, Phytobiotics Brasil, Ltd., a branch of the German feed additives manufacturer Phytobiotics. This new partnership will allow for the distribution of Amaferm® across Brazil, the largest country in South America, and a leading producer of both beef and poultry.

“Phytobiotics is producer of well-known and reputable feed additives and was looking for a product that complements its own portfolio. This is a unique opportunity for BioZyme to grow its business all over Brazil and to offer our products to a market that is looking for technically sound and research-proven natural alternatives,” said Volker Altenbokum, Director of International Business Development for BioZyme.

The Phytobiotics sales team has been thoroughly trained about Amaferm and its advantages as a precision-based prebiotic that impacts intake, digestion and absorption.

“Amaferm is the perfect fit for us and will play a crucial role in our antibiotic replacement strategy. We are looking forward to working with BioZyme and to supporting their ambitious growth plan for our country,” added Otto Figueiro, Phytobiotics Latin American Business Development Manager.

Phytobiotics is a 100% family-owned global feed manufacturing company based in Germany. It specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality performance products, serving the animal production, agriculture and biogas industry.

“We are excited to grow now in Brazil and to work very closely with the amazing crew of Phytobiotics Brazil. We already have had our first meetings, and it becomes quickly evident that there are a lot of synergies to be expected,” said Fernando Bargo, BioZyme Regional Business & Innovation Manager based in Argentina.
